The Forum of Private Business

Founded in 1977, FPB is a wholly independent, non-profit making company limited by guarantee. With a membership comprising 23,945 businesses nation-wide, FPB co-ordinates representation for the private sector in terms of their problems, aspirations and opportunities.

Working from a politically non-partisan base, FPB presents the British Government with facts they have requested (and its departments and agencies), Members of the British and European Parliaments, the major banks, the media, the academic world, and a wide range of other interested parties.

FPB's main activity therefore is to lobby for the promotion of free enterprise and for recognition of the potential of smaller businesses to contribute to the health and wealth of the national economy, and to society as a whole.
