CAPEB is the foremost professional association representing crafts and small businesses in the building industry. It safeguards the material and moral interests of the sector's 300 000 companies. Its main objectives include: individual and collective defence of its members; promoting and representing building sector enterprises in their relations with the authorities and consultative bodies and to the general public, in order to raise awareness of their skills and capabilities; monitoring of all cases of a legislative, legal, fiscal, economical, professional or social nature that concern the sector; contributing to the economic development of member companies; the promotion of the enterprises through promoting the value of craftsmen's skills and using vocational training instruments.
